It is well connected with Kolkata, which is only 59 km. away, by the South Eastern Railways. The campus is located at the junction of Kolkata-Mumbai and Kolaghat-Haldia National Highways, which are segments of Golden Quadrilateral. It takes only 1 hr. and 15 minutes from Kolkata or from Medinipur to reach the college by road. Being strategically located, the College offers the scope of interaction not only with the leading industries in and around Kolkata, Haldia and Kharagpur but also enables teachers from premier institutions such as IIT, Kharagpur, Calcutta University, Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpore and Jadavpur University to come for lectures, workshops and seminars.
